Tribute to RBG "I Dissent" Necklace
An African Turquoise bead chain supports the large textured and patinated brass medallion. A pierced, flat sterling disc is positioned off-center to symbolize the effect of a majority/minority ruling of the nine justices. A blue druzy cabochon represents the color of justice. The reverse messages "I DISSENT".
Tribute to Women of Craft, "We Like Shiny Things"
The crow and raven were common themes in the Arts & Crafts Movement. Vintage Bakelite buttons mounted in sterling silver with black tin crows peering through the pierced crow-shaped opening on the reverse. Dark grey "pearls" create a post for suspending the button medallions. Versatile. These can be worn as studs, or a combination of front/back medallions and crows. One sparkling iridescent bead provides the "shiny thing".
