Tribute to Women of Craft Vintage Bakelite Button & Brass Earrings (REVERSIBLE)

It's a metamorphosis of fun. Vintage (c.1930s), carved Bakelite buttons in oxidized brass bezel & vintage fern green flower-shaped spacer beads pair up to create Arts & Crafts inspired earrings. The addition of rabbit motif tins in windows & reversible 14KGF ear wires provides three playful combinations.

Mary J. Newill (1860-1947) had many talents and excelled at embroidery. Her large, detailed pictorial scenes featured ornamental landscapes. Her teaching style included having several students collaboratively on a single work. Small animals, trees, cottages, and birds were common themes. The buttons in the design would have been manufactured during her lifetime.
